First elected in 2015, Ruby Sahota, the Member of Parliament for Brampton North. Born in Toronto and raised in Brampton, she is an active member of the local community.
Ruby serves as a member of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security, and as a member of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs.
Ruby has also been an active member of the House of Commons Standing Committee on the Status of Women and played a key role in the House Subcommittee on the Code of Conduct for Members of the House of Commons for Sexual Harassment.
