[MC – June 10, 2020] Peel Region has launched its first mobile pop-up centre to help make COVID19 testing more accessible to communities and high-risk workplaces.
The pop-up testing centre will go into the community to test people in high-risk workplaces and other outbreaks settings. This allows Ontario Health, Region of Peel, Peel Regional Paramedic Services, and hospital partners to reach those who are at the highest risk of infection and support existing work at assessment centres.
Peel Region advises that if you have no symptoms but are either a close contact of someone confirmed or suspected to have COVID-19 or work in a high-risk setting you should come for mobile testing. If you’re experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 you should attend one of the following listed hospital-based assessment centres for testing.
The location of pop-up testing centres will vary. Peel Region will update the location when there are changes.
