Senator Faisal Javed Khan announced on Thursday that on the invitation of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Prime Minister Imran Khan will make a statement via video for the 4th Annual Austrian World Summit taking place in Vienna, Austria.
The senator tweeted that on the invitation of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Prime Minister Imran Khan will make a statement via video as Climate action heroes ll once again gather in Vienna Austria for the 4th annual Austrian World Summit The Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative.
The Senator further said, “Arnold Schwarzenegger has been fighting pollution and climate change for nearly 20 years. His Climate Initiative focuses on building awareness of the climate crisis and the urgent need for action every day and once a year at Austrian World Summit.”
“Arnold Schwarzenegger appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan’s commitment and steps taken towards fighting climate change and called him a Climate Action Hero, A Strong and Important partner in the climate action alliance, ” Senator Faisal Javed added further.
In his statement, Imran Khan said, “If the world doesn’t take notice now, I’m afraid we’d be endangering our future generations. We’ve achieved the target of planting 1 billion trees in KP and now we’ve set a target of planting 10 billion trees nationwide”
