Never Have I Ever’s Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Devi Vishwakumar) was joined by her family, friends, and fans in Toronto to celebrate the release of season four of the hit show, which had over 76 million hours viewed during its first week of release.
- The action-packed evening took place on Friday, June 8 at the Artscape Daniels Launchpad in Downtown Toronto.
- Guests celebrated the graduating class of Never Have I Ever with food, drinks, and a screening of the first episode of season four.
- The event space was decked out in Never Have I Ever themed photo activations, giving guests the opportunity to be a Sherman Oaks High School student.
- The screening was followed by a Q&A with Ramakrishnan, led by the host of the night, Radheyan Simonpillai.
Performances included a dance created by Toronto-based choreographer, Anoshinie Muhundarajah. The dance incorporated Bharatanatyam, Kuthu, and touches of Western styles fused with both Tamil dance styles to celebrate Ramakrishnan’s culture.
Two lucky fans won a prize pack filled with some of Ramakrishnan’s favourite things. The night ended with an exclusive after-party where Ramakrishnan mingled with her family, friends, and local influencers.
Guests were treated to themed signature cocktails, henna artistry, Tim Hortons’ donuts, and a drumming performance by Ahkenam Arts.
Ramakrishnan was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. In April 2020, Never Have I Ever premiered on Netflix. Ramakrishnan plays Devi Vishwakumar, an Indian-American Tamil high school student. The final Season 4 of Never Have I Ever is now streaming on Netflix.
