Former Miss World Aishwarya Rai and her daughter have been shifted to hospital, days after testing positive for coronavirus. Aishwarya, 46 and eight-year-old Aaradhya were diagnosed with coronavirus on Sunday, a day after the actor’s father-in-law, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and husband Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for the COVID-19.
The actress had been isolating at home with her daughter Aaradhya, but is said to have gone to a Mumbai hospital after they ‘developed breathlessness’, reports India’s print and online media.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took the Miss World crown in 1994 and made her acting debut in the late 1990s. She went on to become one of the most famous Bollywood faces abroad and has been a regular on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.
