On Sunday, as per Public Health Ontario, Toronto and Peel Region reported 52 new cases, while Ottawa reported 7 new cases.
New patients’ age group (Ontario): The majority were between the ages of 20 and 39. Thirteen new cases were reported in people under the age of 20, while 21 were recorded in those above the age of 60.
An uptick of Cases in Peel (August 23):
As per the latest report from Public Health Ontario, on Sunday at 10:30 am, Peel Region recorded 32 new cases.
“Today, Ontario is reporting 115 cases of #COVID19, a 0.3% increase as the province processed over 23,300 tests. Locally, 29 of Ontario’s 34 public health units are reporting five or fewer cases, with 13 of them reporting no new cases.“, the Health Minister, Christine Elliot, stated in her tweet today.
